To be a woman, to be divine. A body, a soul, a mother, and a sister.

I studied the female body through the lens of Italian and French classicism. A Venus, not demure, not modest, but grand and superb. Sitting on the shoulders of great artists past, I observed the art of masters such as Antonio Canova, Botticelli, Caravaggio, Artemisia Gentileschi, and Man Ray. But most of all, I reinterpret the art of my grandfather, Ernesto Ornati, painter and sculptor whose works have accompanied my childhood to this day.
