Charity project
Evento Schiave (Slaves event) is a nonprofit event that took place on May 26th, 2021, with the purpose of bringing more awareness to women’s sexual slavery and to help give a voice to its victims. During the event, organized by the Leonardo Da Vinci’s Institute in Lugano, professionals, social workers, and witnesses spoke about the topic, including the protagonist of the testimonial book “I am Joy”. I had the pleasure of contributing by giving various photographs of women that I have taken over the years to the final charity auction, which raised over 9’000 francs.
